Bloomberg exec, wife and daughter found dead in South Carolina home and cops wont say how they died

The bodies of a wealth Bloomberg executive, his wife and their young daughter were found in their South Carolina mansion Friday, and cops have released few details of the mysterious deaths.Cops in the town of Greer, which is northeast of Greenville in western South Carolina, found the bodies of the parents and their 9-year-old daughter after responding to a call from a concerned neighbor, the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office said.Authorities identified the victims as Richard Samarel, 54; Lina Maria Samarel, 45; and their daughter Samantha Samarel, the county coroner told WYFF.Cops have revealed few further details about the deaths — including whether they were murdered or died by some accident — but there seems to be no “threat to the public,” the sheriff’s office said in a statement.They added that there were other “other residents” of the home who “were in school when the incident occurred” — possibly another daughter and young son of the couple shown in social media posts by Lina Maria.“More information will be released at the appropriate time once both the Coroner’s Office and this agency can further their respective investigations of this incident,” the sheriff’s office said.The parents’ Facebook profiles claim they had been married since 2009.Richard Samarel was an equities manager at Bloomberg LP, and his wife Lina was Colombian immigrant who worked for the US Department of Veteran Affairs, according to their profiles.The family lived in a six-bedroom home worth nearly $800,000, according to Zillow....
