Harrison Ford kisses wife Calista Flockhart as he rides the NYC subway solo in rare outing

Han Solo subway spotting.Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart rode the subway in New York City alongside fellow commuters on Monday.The couple were seen walking in the Upper West Side neighborhood before they ventured down to a subway station.The stars shared a sweet kiss goodbye on the platform before Flockhart, 60, rushed to catch her Express Downtown 2 train to get to her Off-Broadway play.Ford, 82, followed his wife’s instructions and took the Downtown 1 train and got off at 59th Street.While on the subway, the “Star Wars” actor sat next to a woman in pink and struck up a conversation with her during the ride.Ford reportedly told the woman that he hadn’t taken the subway in years.Ford was dressed in a button-down shirt with dark blue jeans and black boots.

He also sported a pair of black-rimmed glasses and a watch.Flockhart, meanwhile, wore a grey sweater, baggy blue jeans, a blue hat and a black face mask.The “Brothers & Sisters” actress also carried a black backback with her.The couple’s NYC outing marked Ford’s first public appearance since he stepped down as a presenter at the 2025 Oscars last month for health reasons.Ford’s rep confirmed the actor was diagnosed with shingles.

He was slated to present at the March 2 ceremony, but canceled his appearance the day before.The week prior, Ford went to the SAG Awards where he was nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series for his role in Apple TV+’s “Shrinking.” He lost to “Only Murders in the Building” star Martin Short.The show was also nominated for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series, but again lost to “Only Murders.”During an interview on the SAGs red carpet, Ford explained why Flockhart didn’t accompany him to the event.“My wife is in New York doing a play,” he shared.Flockhart is currently starring in the production of “Curse of the Starving Class” by the late Sam Shepard.Ford and Flockhart met at the 59th Go...
