The Manhattan rental apartment where Michelle Trachtenberg lived at the time of her death has already found a new tenant, The Post has learned.The 39-year-old actress, celebrated for her performances in “Harriet the Spy” and “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” resided in a two-bedroom, two-bathroom dwelling at 1 Columbus Place near Columbus Circle for just five months before her sudden passing.Less than a month after her body was discovered on Feb.26, the property went back on the market — listing on March 20 for $7,700 per month.

It found a new tenant within 24 hours, securing a monthly rent of $7,670, according to StreetEasy records.Trachtenberg inked a lease for the $7,500-a-month apartment, which overlooks the Hudson River, in September of 2024.Months later, however, tragedy struck.Trachtenberg’s mother discovered her unresponsive in this unit, and emergency responders declared her deceased at the scene.Listing details for the fairly modest-looking residence, which occupies roughly 1,000 square feet, include a narrow galley kitchen with quartz countertops that leads into a combined living and dining area.

The home also has a washer/dryer unit.The bedrooms are on opposing ends of the main room.
