MJBizCon offers speakers chance to share insights, shape industry

The most fulfilling part of an MJBizCon presentation is right after the Q&A, when the speaker is met by exuberant and inspired audience members.Questions are asked, cards are exchanged and the excitement is palpable.
ADVERTISEMENT Cannabis industry experts interested in inspiring their peers and advancing the industry have until 11:59 p.m.ET on April 11 to apply to speak at MJBizCon 2025.
Replies will likely go out in May.So far, nearly 170 speaker applications have been received.
This year’s MJBizCon – the 13th edition – is scheduled for Dec.2-5 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

To name a few: Nancy Whiteman, the founder and longtime CEO of edibles multistate operator Wana Brands, which she sold for $297.5 million in 2021.Sundie Seefried, the founder and recently retired leader of Safe Harbor, a banking and lending pioneer in the cannabis space.
Jesce Horton, IBM engineer-turned-expert cannabis cultivator and the founder and CEO of Lowd, which is working with 2025 NBA Hall of Fame inductee Carmelo Anthony to launch his cannabis brand. Hope Jones, an erstwhile NASA biosystems engineer now bringing the science of leaf tissue culture to cultivation through her Emergent Cannabis Sciences.Brendan Kennedy, the founder and former longtime CEO of Tilray Brands, one of the cannabis industry’s first international companies.
