A teacher who used to be an actor with parts in several major TV shows has been charged with grooming and sexually abusing a teenage student.William Schaub, 56, acted in the 1990s and early 2000s — with parts in shows like “The Young and the Reckless,” “Will and Grace,” “Alias” and “Beverly Hills, 90210” — before turning to teaching at Neuqua Valley High School in Naperville, a quiet Chicago suburb.He was arrested Thursday over accusations on felony charges accusing him of sexually abusing one of his female students, Naperville Police Commander Rick Krakow told NBC Chicago.Police launched an investigation last month after receiving an anonymous tip, and uncovered sexual messages between the teacher and his student starting at least in November — with evidence it turned physical, the top cop said.Schaub was arrested in a traffic stop near his home in neighboring suburb La Grange and booked into the Will County jail.He was charged with one count of felony aggravated sexual assault, one count of aggravated sexual abuse and one count of grooming, according to police.“Our investigation has not led to any information that would lead us to believe there’s another victim,” Krakow said.
