The Issue: Mayor Adams announcing he will run for reelection as an independent.What a disgrace (“Dems The Breaks!” April 4).A judge dropped the charges against Mayor Adams, who is clearly corrupt.Once again, a politician walks away unscathed and it’s the taxpayers who suffer.Now we are hearing that Adams plans to run as an independent, though it’s obvious he doesn’t stand a chance at reelection.
If he were smart, he’d withdraw from the race and work on restoring some shred of respect.Adams ran his game and failed.He’s lucky he got as far as he did.
