Meghan Markle’s fans have been left disappointed after placing a pricy order of her new $28 honey — only to be told that they will not be receiving the products.The Duchess of Sussex, 43, last week celebrated the official launch of her delayed lifestyle brand, As Ever, by releasing a handful of products on its website.The “Suits” alum’s items included a limited-edition $28 wildflower honey with honeycomb, $12 herbal teas (hibiscus, peppermint and lemon ginger), $14 crepe mix and shortbread cookies with $15 flower sprinkles.But less than an hour after the items went live, the entire stock had sold out due to overwhelming demand.Moments later, some unlucky shoppers received an email saying the products were already sold out when they placed their orders.Instead, customers were told they would be getting full refunds as well as another As Ever item of their choice for the inconvenience.“The excitement created a volume of traffic on the site that even we couldn’t have anticipated (with everything selling out in an hour),” an email from the company read.“The orders were happening so quickly that the backend of the site didn’t have a chance to keep up.
