One person hurt in stabbing at NJs Fort Lee High School, prompting lockdown

At least one person has been injured in a stabbing at New Jersey’s Fort Lee High School.Authorities didn’t say if the victim is a student, but sources told NBC New York that their injuries are not life threatening.A suspect is in custody.Numerous officers responded to the school, located blocks from the George Washington Bridge, after it was plunged into lockdown over the incident.“At this time, there is no immediate threat to the safety of our school community, and we are cooperating fully with law enforcement as they conduct their investigation,” said a notice to parents from the school.“Due to the incident all roads leading to and from Fort Lee High School are closed.Please do not report to the school,” the school added, explaining that classes would be canceled for the remainder of the day, and students would be dismissed....
