Weezer bassist Scott Shriner performs at Coachella after his wife was shot by cops, arrested

The show must go on.Scott Shriner performed with his band Weezer at Coachella on Saturday, just days after his wife, Jillian Shriner, was shot by police and arrested for attempted murder.According to the LA Times, Scott, 59, walked on stage at the Mojave tent and pumped his fist as he drew a huge round of cheers from the thousands of people in the crowd.Shriner, frontman Rivers Cuomo, drummer Patrick Wilson and keyboardist Brian Bell performed several of the band’s biggest hits including “Island in the Sun”, “Beverly Hills,” “Hash Pipe” and “Perfect Situation.” They also did a cover of Metallica’s “Enter Sandman.”Nobody on stage addressed the incident involving Scott’s wife.Two days before the performance, Scott was walking his dogs outside his Los Angeles home and exclusively told The Post of Jillian, “She’s alright, thank you for asking.”“See you at Coachella!” the musician added.Last Wednesday, cops were chasing down three men from a hit-and-run that took place earlier on the nearby freeway when they spotted Jillian, 51, on the porch of her home in in the LA neighborhood of Eagle Rock.She was armed with a 9-mm handgun.After the police repeatedly ordered Jillian to drop her firearm, she refused.

She then pointed her gun directly at the officers and fired at them, the cops alleged.One of the officers shot at Jillian and struck her in the shoulder.According to police, she retreated inside her residence and then came back outside with the family’s babysitter.Aerial footage captured by KTLA’s news choppers showed Jillian walking down her driveway with her hands in the air to surrender to cops after being shot.
