She’s keeping calm and carrying on.Kate Middleton has shared a personal video in which she offered some rare insight into how she finds “peace” following her grueling cancer battle.“I find it a very spiritual and very intense emotional reconnection, I suppose, these environments,” the beloved royal, 43, said in video released by Kensington Palace Monday.“Not everyone has that same relationship perhaps with nature, but it is so therefore meaningful for me as a place to balance and find a sort of sense of peace and reconnection in what is otherwise a very busy world.”The Princess of Wales said she adores spending time in nature as she paid a visit to the Lake District in England.There, the princess was joined by a group of young Scouts and Chief Scout Dwayne Fields.“What’s so fantastic about Scouts is, it’s the same foundations that have always been there, and despite how different the modern-day world is now, actually it still resonates with so many young people, and it’s making such a massive difference to them,” said Catherine, who serves as a joint president of the Scouts Association alongside Prince Edward, the Duke of Kent.The video marked a rare appearance for the mom of three, who in January announced that her cancer was in remission.“It is a relief to now be in remission and I remain focused on recovery,” she wrote in January alongside photos from her surprise visit to the Royal Marsden Hospital, where she personally thanked staff who took care of her during her cancer treatment.“As anyone who has experienced a cancer diagnosis will know, it takes time to adjust to a new normal.I am however looking forward to a fulfilling year ahead.”While Middleton underwent cancer treatment at the Royal Marsden hospital, she was initially admitted into the London Clinic in January 2024 for a planned abdominal surgery.However, after her stint under the watchful eye of doctors and nurses, it emerged that a staffer had allegedly breached ...
