Georgia woman accused of yanking child with dog leash in disturbing footage months after giving him weed

A Georgia woman was arrested after investigators uncovered disturbing footage of a toddler in her care hogtied with belts and yarn – just months after she was cuffed for giving the child weed, cops said.Brooke Morgan Bestpitch, 24, was collared Friday on child cruelty charges after the horrific videos and photos also showed the deranged Alto woman yanking the child by the neck with a dog leash, according to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office, Fox 5 Atlanta reported.Police launched an investigation in December upon learning of “abusive activities” in a Hall County home.Bestpitch was initially thrown behind bars on Feb.6 on a reckless conduct charge after the initial probe found she allegedly gave the child a doobie and allowed him to smoke it, the sheriff’s office said. She posted a $1,300 bond and was released from jail the next day.Authorities secured warrants for the crazed woman’s cell phone and Snapchat account, where they found the alarming footage of the young boy tied up, deputies said, the outlet reported. Another video showed Bestpitch using the canine tether – which constricted the young boy’s neck – to jerk him around. The relationship between Bestpitch and the victim was not disclosed by police.

It’s also unclear if the child suffered any injuries.Bestpitch was charged with first-degree child cruelty, deputies said. She was booked at Hall County Jail and released on a $11,200 bond on Saturday....
