Hugh Jackman has a bone to pick with Ryan Reynolds.The actors starred alongside one another in the 2024 action/sci-fi film “Deadpool & Wolverine” — but Jackman, 56, wasn’t happy to be left out of the Marvel project’s musical scene.“Don’t tell Ryan… I don’t need to be in every scene in the movie,” he told the crowd at Radio City Music Hall where he was performing his show “From New York, With Love” on Friday, according to Daily Mail.Jackman added, “But Ryan is a writer.And when I see the script, I see that the scene that I’m not in is the opening sequence which is a dance number to an *NSYNC song by Ryan.”Of course, “The Greatest Showman” actor saw that and was immediately floored that he wasn’t included by the 48-year-old.“I’m like, the one scene I’m not in has dance,” recalled Jackman.
“Now Ryan, he’s very talented, but dancing?”“‘There is no way I would try and match Ryan’s dance double Nick Pauley… because the guy’s like 25 years old,” he quipped.The audience laughed as Jackman clarified he was going to “rectify” the problem.He then brought out his trainer and former dancer Beth Lewis to perform “the dance that got away” with him.The duo danced to *NSYNC’s hit track “Bye Bye Bye” as the crowd went wild.Jackman and Reynolds have been longtime pals, with the “Spirited” star even showing up to opening night of the Broadway vet’s New York City performance.
