Travis Hunters wedding plans with Leanna Lenee revealed during thrilling NFL draft night

This spring is shaping up to be a memorable one for the newly drafted Travis Hunter. The rookie Jaguars cornerback-wide receiver is slated to marry fiancée Leanna Lenee in late May, ESPN reported during its 2025 NFL Draft coverage Thursday, the same day Jacksonville made a splashy trade for Cleveland’s No.2 pick to grab the Heisman Trophy winner.Hunter, 21, revealed his engagement to Lenee in early 2024.
They went public with their relationship two years prior.Lenee, a graduate of Kennesaw State University in Georgia, accompanied Hunter on Thursday to the NFL draft festivities in Green Bay.Before hitting the red carpet, Lenee presented Hunter with a Rolex watch in their hotel room.Lenee has taken a step back from the public eye amid ridicule over her demeanor at the Heisman Trophy ceremony in December and the subsequent fallout.Hunter’s loved ones could hardly contain their excitement on Thursday when he received that highly anticipated call from the Jaguars.“I’m just super excited,” said Hunter, who hails from Florida.
“I get to go back home, but also somewhere I wanted to play and I’m so excited that they picked me.”Jacksonville intends to use two-way star Hunter on both sides of the ball. The team plans to “on-board him by giving him a heavy dose of the wide receiver position while still playing him at his more natural position on defense,” Adam Schefter reported Thursday.Hunter said before the draft that he would rather not play at all than be limited to a single position.“It’s never playing football again,” Hunter told CBS Sports this month.“Because I’ve been doing it my whole life, and I love being on the football field.
I feel like I could dominate on each side of the ball, so I really enjoy doing it.”In his final year at Colorado, Hunter tallied 96 receptions for 1,258 yards and 15 touchdowns. He also recorded 24 solo tackles.Jaguars’ rookie mini-camp is slated from May 2-5 and May 9-12....
