Ja Morant is hurt yet again.The exciting yet oft-injured Grizzlies star will miss Game 4 against the Thunder and might not play another game this NBA season, according to ESPN.“Morant played through a significant ankle sprain to clinch a playoff spot last week, then suffered a scary fall on his hip Thursday,” Shams Charania posted on X.The Grizzlies are trailing the Thunder 3-0 in the series, one loss away from ending their 2025 playoff run.Morant left Game 3 between the Grizzlies and Oklahoma City Thunder with a hip injury after attempting an acrobatic layup over forward Lu Dort, who tripped and was off-balance as Morant fell over him to a hard fall.Morant’s exit proved to be a massive turning point in the contest.

The Grizzlies held a 27-point lead when Morant left the game due, and the Thunder gradually cut into the deficit before eventually overtaking Memphis and winning, 114-108.Morant, who had already been playing through a sprained ankle, left the game with 15 points and five assists in 16 minutes.The two-time NBA All-Star was limited to just 50 appearances during the 82-game regular season due to various ailments.
