Thunder vs. Grizzlies Game 4 prediction: NBA Playoff picks, odds, best bets

The Memphis Grizzlies sure seem to have missed their opportunity to notch a win in their first-round series, and the betting market suggests a sweep is imminent. The Oklahoma City Thunder are 14.5-point road favorites Saturday after OKC staged a historic comeback that was enabled by Ja Morant’s hip injury.According to reports, the Memphis star is out for Game 4.The Thunder rallied from a 29-point deficit, staging the second-largest comeback in the NBA playoffs since play-by-play data began in the 1996-97 postseason.Morant landed hard on his left hip in the final minutes of the first half and did not return.

Memphis held a 77-51 halftime lead but only mustered 31 points in the second half. So now the Grizzlies have a 3-0 series deficit with injuries mounting. They entered the series without starting guard Jaylen Wells and now will be missing their best player in Morant. In my eyes, it is hard to imagine Memphis putting up much of a fight and being able to generate offense against the league’s top-ranked defense.

Both teams looked exhausted down the stretch in Game 3, so with a tipoff less than 48 hours later, I expect a sluggish game. My record in this Post sports section is 38-28-1 ATS, entering Friday’s pick of the Bucks -5 against the Pacers. And this next official play is the Grizzlies Under 105.5 points....
