It was a view to a nil.A flight attendant felt royally duped after booking what she thought was a hotel with a “gorgeous” city view — only to realize she’d been vacational-ly catfished.The incident occurred while air hostess Angela Ruth Strong was on vacation with colleagues in Mexico, as Jam Press reported and also detailed in a TikTok video with 3 million views.“This was my first overnight in the city, and another flight attendant had told me that it [the unnamed hotel] was one of her favorites,” the crew member said of her hotel hornswoggling.Strong said she had especially big “expectations,” as her room was located on the ninth floor, the highest in the resort and situated far above her colleagues’ accommodations.Her coworkers even told her that her room was “the best” and a “penthouse,” Strong recalled.However, the vacationer quickly said hasta la vista.When she arrived in her quarters, she realized that her “gorgeous view” was anything but.
